When I was tasked with creating a children's room coat hanger, I wanted to make something playful with a dual purpose. This peg can therefore also be used to store stuffed animals, toys or clothes in the circle.
The idea process included vials with glitter you could rotate, spiralling systems, moving lollipop arms, animal or plant figures and the circular final product.
The parts slide together and clicks to sit tightly. I created this mount fixture to hide the screws, not only for aesthetics, but for the safety of children as well.

The packaging design, designed purely with cardboard
(leftI Simple prototype in wood and cardboard, (right) iterations on packaging design.
This project taught me how to design for injection molded plastic and 100% cardboard packaging without the use of glue or staples. The packaging was an immense challenge, but it taught me to appreciate good solutions that I see in stores today.
